Zabreh Museum
House Pod Podloubím where Zabreh Museum is situated is one of the most valuable signs of bourgeois house infrastructure evolution in the northern Moravia.
Between the owners of the house were one of the most prominent Zabreh bourgeois residents. One of them was treasurer of Zerotín, estate mister Burian Vizovsky, whose daughter Magdalena was the first wife of J. A. Komensky. House of mazhause style, with a gothic cellar was rebuild into renaissance style in the second half of 16th century. At that time a new tower with arcade was added.
Baroque period is seen on the ceiling on the ground floor and the first floor. At the beginning of the 19th century there were changes to the stucco decoration at the façade of the tower and changes in design of the roof. At the beginning of the 1960’s the building was modified for the needs of the museum, which was situated there until 1981.
Due to the disrepair of the building the museum had to leave the house Pod Podloubím and they returned there after the reconstruction 17 year later.
