This kind of salad is typical for the Czech Republic. It consists of various vegetables and Greek cheese. According to tradition, it should be sprinkled with Feta cheese, which is made of goat or sheep milk. The salad is flavored with a simple dressing. It can be served as an appetizer, as a side dish or as a light snack.
2 small tomatoes
half a cucumber
1 bell pepper
2 small red onions
3/4 lb Greek cheese / Feta cheese
5 olives
1–2 Tbs olive oil
1 Tbs vinegar
Wash all vegetables and dice the cucumber, hot pepper, and tomatoes. Peel the onions and slice them thinly. Add them to other ingredients and mix. Drizzle the salad with olive oil and vinegar and mix, top the salad with diced or crumbled Greek or Feta cheese and the olives.
