Nut Bundt Cake

A Bundt cake is traditionally baked in a Bundt pan has a  typical shape a hole in the middle. Raisins, fruits, chocolate pieces, or nuts can be added to the dough. Into Nut Bundt Cake you can add any kind of nuts according to your taste. The most typical is with walnuts.  The nuts can be finely ground or chopped into pieces. The Bundt Cake is very easy and fast to make, that is probably the reason why we see it in the Czech cuisine so often.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup Wondra instant flour
1 cup milk
1 cup crystal sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
3/4 cup oil
1 packet or 2-3 tsp of baking powder
3 eggs
unsalted butter or margarine
plain bread crumbs

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 360° F, grease the Bundt pan with unsalted margarine and sprinkle with the plain bread crumbs. Separate whites from yolks and whip the whites until stiff. In the another bowl mix all the other ingredients together. Then gently fold in the whipped whites. Pour dough into the Bundt pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

You can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar or glaze with chocolate frosting.
